What a Beautiful Return: Reflections on the October Vision Board Workshop

It was beautiful.

The setting, Ashman Plaza, above Live Oak Coffeehouse, in Midland, Michigan, felt like it had been created just for me and for these Vision In Bloom Workshops. Warm, welcoming, and safe. The kind of space where creativity comes easily and laughter feels natural.

This October gathering was especially meaningful because I shared it with close friends and my daughters. It felt like coming home, like riding a bike after years away. I picked up right where I left off so many years ago, guiding women once again through the steps of the Visioning process I love so deeply.

What Happened in the Room

Together, we slowed down and tuned in. We reflected, wrote, and created following the gentle rhythm of discovery. Each woman built her own vision board, piece by piece, letting her heart lead instead of her head.

The results were stunning: authentic, full of life, and straight from the heart.

There were tears. There was laughter. There was the kind of connection that reminds you how powerful it is when women gather to create.

What I Felt

As I watched everyone work, I was struck by how natural it all felt. Like I had simply returned to something I was always meant to do. I guided, encouraged, and witnessed transformation unfold right before me.

It was humbling and joyful. I would and truly could do this every day. It’s such a blessing to witness women discovering clarity, courage, and creativity in themselves.

Looking Ahead

October reminded me of something I already knew: this work matters. Creating space for women to pause, reflect, and vision isn’t just a creative exercise, it’s an act of renewal. And that’s why I’m so excited for what’s next. Our November Vision In Bloom workshop will carry this same energy. A new season, a fresh start, and another opportunity to gather, create, and bloom forward together.

Because when women make space for vision, transformation naturally follows.
